Parallel imported digital cameras, are they bad in terms of quality ?

I bought canon IXY 900 IS ( same as IXUS 850 IS ) and saved 150 $ because it was parallel imported. Does it mean it is a faulty product ? why it is so cheap then ???

They are called normally gray market products. The products could be as good as products sold here in US but the problem is with warranty. In your case Canon USA would not honor the warranty issued to specific country. You are on your own. They know the products by serial number.

In the days of mail order, prior to Internet I refused to buy gray market cameras from Stores in NYC because of this reason. Some reputable Stores from NY still list gray market products but I am leery of $150 discount unless you bought it from auction places.

A Digital media player is a consumer electronic device that has the primary function of storing, organizing and playing audio files. The way you can get the music onto your digital media players are usually be a USB cord that can put into your computer.  That's where you can either burn C.Ds or get the music off a website and sync it to your media player.  It's very easy at many of the media players have built in electric microphone which also allow you to record music if you like to.  It's not always the best buy it still works.

A lot of different media players have memory cards and hold a differnent amount of memory or songs.  As of today there are tons of places where you can purchase the type of media player you want.  You can go to just about any electronic store.  You can also shop online.  They are also selling all types of media players.  The prices all range at different prices depending all on the type you want and the company you want to purchase it from.
